Charles started his career in professional dog training as the lead trainer at Petsmart from early 2018 to late 2020. While training for Petsmart, Charles was responsible for making his own class schedules, facilitating seminars, and teaching clients and their dogs hands-on. After almost three years training in a retail setting, he was hired on to work at a private board and train. From late 2020 to mid 2022, under the supervision from his mentor, he learned to manage up to 40 dogs at a time, use balance training equipment, and has handled and trained hundreds of dogs. Over the course of five years, Charles worked as a professional dog trainer under two different employers. Since then, he has branched out to offer his training under his own company name, Custom-Made Canine.

Private Lessons: $75 per hour

Board and Trains: $600 per week
